Eltesja is a 2006 purebred Polish line filly, bred at the famous Michalow Stud in Poland. Her sire is the world renowned Emigrant (recently sold to the USA) by Ararat and from Emigrantka, whose dam is the legendary matriarch Emigracja. Eltesja's dam, Elgara is by Eldon from the Monogramm mare Elganda. Bred in the purple and tracing in both female lines to the immortal Estokoda, Eltesja will be an invaluable broodmare and a new direction for our stud. Being huge fans of the Polish horses for many years our wishes have come true with the acquisiton of this lovely filly. Eltesja arrived at Moondarra on February 15, 2009 and has been settling in very well.

Elganda is currently residing in Victoria, Australia, purchased from the Polish Sale in 2006 for the sum of 75,000Euro in a group of horses bought at the time. She was in foal to Poganin and has subsequently had a colt foal, which has been shown in limited outings in Victoria, very successfully, so far.
2009 - Great news, Eltesja has been preg tested in foal to our Senior Stallion Kyarnda Lodge Panache for a late September 2010 foal.
